Fabasoft Folio offers the following interfaces and options for developing customer-specific solutions.

Reports

Using the integration for BIRT (Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools) and Apache POI it is possible to generate reports directly from Fabasoft Folio.

E-Services

E-service applications can be used via a portal (Liferay Portal) by external portal users via the Internet.

Web Services

Fabasoft Folio provides web services that can be used by third-party applications to execute actions in Fabasoft Folio.

CMIS (Content Management Interoperability Services)

The integration of the open and manufacturer-independent CMIS standard enables access to the folder structure and contents in Fabasoft Folio.

Supported Protocols

Access to data in Fabasoft Folio is possible via the following protocols:

  • WebDAV (Web-Based Distributed Authoring and Versioning)
    Provides access to the folder structure and contents in Fabasoft Folio.
  • CalDAV (Calendar Distributed Authoring and Versioning)
    Provides access to calendars in Fabasoft Folio.
  • CardDAV (vCard Extensions to WebDAV)
    Provides access to address books in Fabasoft Folio.

Mass Import

Fabasoft Folio supports mass import of content via the COLD product technology.

Composite Content Applications With Fabasoft app.ducx

Fabasoft app.ducx allows partners and customers to develop content based vertical applications (Composite Content Applications), for example to manage insurance claims or personnel files. These applications utilize all the advantages of Fabasoft Folio like scalability and platform independence. Fabasoft app.ducx fully integrates with Eclipse, a professional, freely available and platform independent development environment.
