Installation of the Fabasoft Folio Client for Autodesk AutoCAD

To install the client, type the following URLs in the web browser:

http://<webserver>/<fscvdir>/fscasp/content/lib/FolioClientAutoCAD.msi

Or execute Setup\ComponentsBase\Client\FolioClientAutoCAD.msi from the Fabasoft installation media.

The Fabasoft Folio Client for Autodesk AutoCAD provides a custom command (see chapter “Custom Command”) for Autodesk AutoCAD which is executed whenever an AutoCAD Drawing or AutoCAD Project is opened in the Fabasoft Folio Client.

Uninstalling

For uninstalling the Fabasoft Folio Client for Autodesk AutoCAD manually use the “Apps and Features” dialog provided by Microsoft Windows.

For uninstalling the Fabasoft Folio Client for Autodesk AutoCAD automatically, a signed Microsoft PowerShell script file is provided, which is added to the installation directory. This script includes the product code of the currently installed version and can be used by a deployment tool (like Microsoft Software Center) for uninstalling this version even if it was automatically updated before.
